Days after the news came out that HPRT is announcing a new mobile printer under the name HPRT MT810, The company actually sent us the product for review, but before doing a full in-depth review about it, I’m going to do an unboxing and talk about my first impressions of the device, its design and build quality and my experience with it as well as a quality test first then the full review will follow up very shortly, stick with us to find out more about it.

The first thing worth noting is that the product arrived very shortly after the company contacted me even though I live very far away from them, and the product arrived in perfect shape without being damaged or any other issues which just indicates how good the service is, after unpacking the package we find the box itself, and let me say that I loved the way they designed the containing box, it was unusual and cute, to say the least, this thing is full of colors and shapes and it gives quite the unboxing experience, additionally, you find on the box text indicating some features as well as a QR code to download the app or the software.

Once you open the box, you are presented with the HPRT MT810 mobile printer itself inside a little bag and held very firmly with two plastic pieces as well as the USB C charging cable, in addition to a user manual with clear instructions on how to use to the printer, which I will go over anyway in the review coming up soon.

The HPRT Mt810 portable printer is made out of plastic with a matt finish that feels very sturdy, does not slip out of hand, and doesn’t leave noticeable fingerprints behind, the overall design is pretty minimalistic and nice, I personally prefer discrete designs over colorful and loud ones.

On top we find the power button surrounded by an LED light that indicates the battery state along with an LED beside it that indicates the state of the connection, we do also find the lid and the opening where the paper comes out of, from the right side we have the USB C port for charging and underneath we find the rubber feet to help it stay still in one place and a sticker containing information about the charging, the QR code, the mac address and manufacturing information as well, when I pressed the two buttons on each side down, the lid opened automatically revealing what’s beneath it, there simply was the thermal paper roll in place and absolutely nothing else, and that’s the beauty of it since you don’t need any ink or ribbon for this printer to print, just place the thermal paper and you are good to go.

Upon holding the MT810 in my hand I couldn’t help but notice that despite the weight of 1kg, the printer doesn’t feel all that heavy, in fact, I would say it’s about as heavy as a notebook and it was very easy to hold and lift without any problems, the second thing is that it is very small in size with only 110*210*216mm in dimensions, in order to understand how small and convenient that is, I’ll just say that I was able to fit it in a corner on my desk, right at the reach of my hand and put it under my disposition at all time without going through the hustle of lifting any heavy weights, plugging any cables or moving all the way across the room just to pick up a print.

After a short while of testing, I found the printer very convenient and easy to use, whether it is the connectivity, the portability, or the quality of the prints, I much liked the whole thing and had a positive experience, more on that in the in-depth review that is coming out very soon, stay tuned and turn on the notifications.
